MICHELE TITTON

Cortina360 Mountain Guides

Michele, born 06/26/1980, has always had an attraction to the mountains especially when they are dressed in white.

During his youth he began his first ascents of the main Dolomite peaks along normal routes, starting with the ascent of the Cima Grande di Lavaredo, which he fell in love with! In fact, over the years he will climb all the classic routes of the Three Peaks, some even as a winter solo.

At the age of 19 he tried his hand at steep skiing, descending the North Face of the Marmolada, and there a faint love for the discipline was sparked. In a few years he descended many of the most challenging steep and extreme descents in the Dolomites and the Alps: from the Comici couloirs to performing a first and unrepeated on the North Face of Cima Cavallo.

By profession, in addition to Mountain Guide, he also works as an expert engineer designing bridges and inspecting them with mountaineering techniques, operating throughout Italy and abroad.

He has been a member of Mountain and Caving Rescue for more than 20 years, where he serves as a Mountain Rescue Instructor and Helicopter Rescue Technician.
