A collaboration under the banner of love and respect for the mountains. Because loving the mountains means being enchanted day after day in front of so much wonder, but always being well aware of the concentration, training and preparation needed to face it and enjoy it to the fullest.
Precision that begins with materials: Blizzard-Tecnica collaborates worldwide with mountain professionals to provide them with the best possible technologies. A choice that is consistent with the brand's philosophy, constantly searching for better and better performing materials thanks to one to the continuous investment in technology, capable of satisfying the most serious and demanding professionals, those who are in turn the benchmark for all skiers.
And not only that: from the experts and their field trials come valuable suggestions. Team Cortina 360 has already been a valuable ally in the development of Blizzard-Tecnica's dedicated ski innovations both on and off-piste for several years. For example, from this collaboration was born Zero G Peak the strongest performing and lightest touring boot ever
In 1945 Toni Arnsteiner, returning home after World War II built the first pair of skis in the family carpentry shop in Mittersill, Austria. Today Mittersill continues to be the heart of ski production in Europe, and the Blizzard brand has not only been able to conquer international podiums in alpine skiing, but has evolved to become the benchmark for freeride skiing in the world. In 2006, Blizzard became part of the Italian Tecnica Group (to which the Tecnica, Nordica, Rollerblade, Lowa, and Moon Boot brands also refer) and the synergy of models and collections and visions with Tecnica, another brand in the group, was natural. In 1960 Giancarlo Zanatta transformed the family shoe factory, specializing in work boots, into one of the biggest brands in sports footwear, from outdoor to ski boots. A leadership built on the ability to innovate, with products capable of revolutionizing the industry, such as Tecnus, the first bi-injected plastic boot.
