Cortina360 with its Indoor Climbing gym "Lino Lacedelli" will lead the way for this event felt and wanted by all the Guides. A way for Guides and their families to get to know and appreciate the mountains of Cortina.

CORTINA 360 GROUP

It was born in the spring of 2018 from the will of some Mountain Guides who decided to turn their passion into a profession. The team consists of mountain professionals trained by the National College of Mountain Guides and internationals from UIAGM and UIMLA.

CORTINA 360 GROUP consists of about twenty mountain guides, almost all of whom are local and expert connoisseurs of the area and its peculiarities.

CORTINA 360 GROUP encompasses within it 3 different entities:

  • CORTINA 360 LTD. which is responsible for the management of the Rock Gym with rental and the Guide Bar, the tour operator Ski Rock Adventure, the Eliski and Destination Management activities.
  • Alpine Guides CORTINA 360 to which all the part related to the activities of the Mountain Guides belongs.
  • ASD CORTINA 360, an amateur sports association.

THE LOCATION.

Cortina d'Ampezzo, known the world over as the Queen of the Dolomites, situated at an altitude of 1224 m, boasts the most famous Dolomite peaks around it: from the Croda da Lago to the Nuvolau, from the spectacular Cinque Torri to the Tofane, Cristallo, Faloria and Sorapiss groups that surround it majestically.

On June 26, 2009, UNESCO included the Dolomites in the prestigious World Natural Heritage List for their monumental beauty. So now the mountains of the Queen of the Dolomites are also rightly recognized among the most beautiful mountains on Earth.

Cortina owes its notoriety to the 1956 Winter Olympics and is now preparing to host the 2026 Olympics after 70 years.

The beating heart of the town is undoubtedly the famous Corso Italia, bustling with restaurants, hotels, stores, businesses, including the historic Cooperative, which make Cortina the mountain resort par excellence.

The strength of the Ampezzo Valley is the rich natural and scenic heritage of rare beauty such as the Ampezzo Dolomites Regional Nature Park. In fact, Cortina is an ideal half for sports lovers in both summer and winter. From skiing to snowshoeing, from freeriding to ski mountaineering, from hiking to mountaineering, from mountain biking to vie ferrate, these are just some of the activities that can be enjoyed in the Ampezzo Valley.

Important to remember that it was here that guides were born who accompanied the explorers of the Dolomites from all over the world to conquer the highest peaks. It is home to great mountaineers such as Angelo Dibona and Lino Lacedelli, representatives of the Scoiattoli Group founded in 1939 and characterized by their famous red sweater.

Cortina d'Ampezzo, the Queen of the Dolomites is undoubtedly one of the absolute most beautiful and spectacular climbing areas in the Alps. It has always attracted expert "climbers" and novice enthusiasts alike. Over 1000 classic and modern routes as well as numerous crags equipped for sport climbing. Climbing here allows you to totally immerse yourself in nature, in close contact with the rock, enjoying at the same time the adrenaline of climbing and the beauty of the surrounding landscapes.

In December 2023, therefore, it will be the Ampezzo Mountains that will host some 200 Guides, from all over the world, who will meet here for a friendly competition, a way to experience a unique location in 360°.
