Very repeated route given the beautiful quality of the rock and the excellent protection with cemented pitons found along the route and at belays.
The Hole Route follows a series of slabs and cracks with 2 final dihedrals leading to the summit. To avoid the 5° dihedrals there is an option to exit along an easy but debris-covered ledge that climbs to the left. The route is also suitable on "uncertain" days or at the beginning and end of the season.
The return trip is via the Kaiserjäger Trail, an interesting route along Great War emplacements with a fascinating passage over a suspension bridge.
