SNOWMOBILE - SNOWSHOEING AND SLEDDING AT THE THREE PEAKS OF LAVAREDO

The Three Peaks of Lavaredo are the symbol of the Dolomites, a Unesco World Heritage Site, striking in their beauty and majesty and a must-see if you come to the Dolomites.

The snowshoe hike to the Three Peaks of Lavaredo, offered by Cortina360 Alpine Guides, involves a loop tour, around the Three Peaks, passing under the dizzying and impressive north walls, which rise 550 meters into the sky.

Package includes Transfer from Cortina to Antorno Lake, Snowmobile outbound from Antorno Lake Shelter to Auronzo Shelter, snowshoes and poles, Alpine Guide.

PROGRAM:

  • Departure every Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. from the "Lino Lacedelli" climbing gym at Sopiazes, 9 in Cortina d'Ampezzo
  • Transfer to Lake Antorno
  • Snowmobiling from Lake Antorno to the Three Peaks of Lavaredo
  • 5 h snowshoe hike

SUNSET SNOWSHOEING ON THE BORDER BETWEEN THE SERENISSIMA REPUBLIC OF VENICE AND HAPSBURG EMPIRE ON THE GIAU PASS

Sunset is one of the most scenically beautiful moments in the Dolomites that creates the famous phenomenon of 'enrosadira. Cortina360 Alpine Guides offer an easy snowshoe hike to enjoy this phenomenon and to discover one of the little-known places in the Unesco Dolomites, the border between the Serenissima Republic of Venice and the Habsburg Empire, a border that lasted until 1918 when Cortina d'Ampezzo became Italian.

PROGRAMME:

  • Departure every Thursday at 4 p.m. from the Lino Lacedelli Rock Gymnasium in Località Sopiazes, 9 in Cortina d'Ampezzo,
  • Transfer
  • 3-4 hour powder snowshoe hike in the Giau Pass area and return to the climbing wall.
  • The proposed package includes an Alpine Guide, snowshoes and poles.

SKI MOUNTAINEERING APPROACH COURSE IN CORTINA D'AMPEZZO IN THE UNESCO DOLOMITES

Born out of necessity, as a "means" of transportation to ascend and descend snow-covered mountains, ski touring today is one of the most fascinating and all-encompassing sporting activities one can do in the mountains.

The Cortina360 ski mountaineering introductory course is structured for a conscious and gradual start, providing the notions and practices necessary to know the materials, learn the techniques of skiing, ascent and descent and safety on different terrains of action and with respect to different niveo-metereological conditions.

The ski touring course is taught by a Cortina360 Mountain Guide and will take place along the beautiful routes around Cortina d'Ampezzo. It lasts two days and can be organized either individually or for groups, and is suitable for both adults and young people.

PROGRAM:

  • Meet at 9:00 a.m. at the "Lino Lacedelli" Rock Gym in Cortina d'Ampezzo
  • Equipment distribution
  • Transfer to the site for the ski mountaineering
  • Ski Mountaineering
  • Return to the "Lino Lacedelli" Rock Gymnasium in Cortina d'Ampezzo
  • Every Saturday and Sunday
