Stabio, May 6, 2022 - The North Face presents the new Climb Collection, made for future generations of climbers and to better support climbers, athletes and all climbing enthusiasts.
From Half Dome in Yosemite National Park, which inspired the brand's logo, to Margo Hayes becoming the first woman in history to climb a 9a+ route, The North Face has been by the side of climbing enthusiasts since its founding day in 1966.
The new Climb Collection consists of men's and women's garments: short-sleeved Himalayan Bottle T-shirts with the characteristic dip-dye effect, project pants, men's Belay Sun hoodie, women's lead-in bralette, and the ever-present chalk bag.
Featuring stretch fabrics and wear-resistant materials, the garments are made in part from plastic recovered from the foothills of the Himalayas, confirming an ongoing commitment to environmental protection.
To bring the new Collection to life, The North Face worked with athletes, climbers and experienced route setters and devised a series of short films in collaboration with gyms and crags across Europe to promote climbing and illustrate why climbers are constantly challenging themselves on new routes.
The short films will be available from May 6 until Global Climbing Day in August, with additional content to be released in the coming months to inspire climbers around the world to push their limits.
