Walking along the snowy expanses of the Giau Pass in the lights of sunset - Malga Giau
A snowshoe hike that will make you spend an afternoon to remember. A walk along snow-covered trails, accompanied by your Alpine Guide who will tell you anecdotes, make you discover hidden places, passages in the woods and who knows, maybe you will be lucky enough to cross some fawns along the way.
And when the sun begins to set, the sunset will envelop you with breathtaking lights and reflections... And when it gets dark, you will have your headlamps available for the last part of your hike.
To welcome you upon arrival is the warmth and delicacies of Malga Giau, a traditional mountain hut where you can enjoy a delicious snack or dinner with local specialties.
Meeting point: Gymnasium "Lino Lacedelli" of Cortina360 - Loc. Sopiazes, 9 - Cortina d'Ampezzo
Equipment: snowshoes, poles, headlamp (provided by Cortina360)
Tips: Carry a backpack with a small change, some snacks, a water bottle or thermos, gloves, cap or band. We recommend dressing in technical waterprof clothes, layered. Wear snow boots (better no MoonBoot).
