I am Bellunese by birth but Ertano by adoption. I practice full-time as a mountain guide and practice mountaineering in all its possible summer or winter variations, although I have been a math teacher and avalanche forecaster in the past.
My passion for the mountains led me first to range throughout the Dolomites, my home mountains, and then to take part in non-European exploratory expeditions to Patagonia, Peru, China, India, and the Sahara.
The activity that still conveys the most serenity to me and to which I devote a good part of my free time is climbing, perhaps along previously unclimbed routes, in some hidden and still wild corner of the Dolomites.
