Route opened by U. Pompanin and A. Alverร in 1946.
The Primo Spigolo route follows the first right-hand edge of the south face of the Tofana di Rozes, climbing both on the edge but also along beautiful, compact, well-handled gray slabs.
The climbing is varied and interesting and develops among dihedrals, cracks, chimneys and traverses that are never too challenging or obligatory.
The rock is always excellent, and the First Edge Route is well protected with bolts at the belays.

- Difficulty 5ยฐ with the second pitch being 5ยฐ+.
- Equipped with normal pitons and fixes at the belays.
- 450m route development. ย
- Climbing time about 3.30 hours.
