The course is organized by the Cortina360 mountain guide group and consists of two hours of theory with a practical test outside the gym.Â
On Jan. 1, 2022, Legislative Decree No. 40 of Feb. 28, 2021, came into force, which provides new regulations on safety in winter sports and which, in Article 26, Paragraph 2, introduces the obligation to equip oneself with ARTVA, shovel and probe when engaging in off-piste and hiking activities, including snowshoeing, "in particular snowy environments where, due to snow and weather conditions, there are avalanche risks."
Therefore, the course is of great benefit to those who want to learn proper self-rescue practices and to those who want to update their skills so that they can face the mountains safely.
Cortina360 will provide the materials to be used for the course to those without.
