SNOWMOBILING – SNOWSHOEING AND SLEIGHING AROUND THE TRE CIME OF LAVAREDO

The Tre Cime of Lavaredo, iconic mountain range of the Dolomites, part of the Unesco heritage and strikingly beautiful, is an essential place to visit for those exploring the Dolomites.

The snowshoe excursion around the Tre Cime of Lavaredo proposed by the Alpine Guides of Cortina360 aims at discovering the unique views of the Tre Cime of Lavaredo, symbol of the Dolomites, with snowshoes.

The package includes the Alpine Guide, the snowmobile transfer from the Chalet at Lake Antorno to Rifugio Auronzo, snowshoes, sticks and sleighs for the descent.

  • Departure at 9:00am from the “Lino Lacedelli” climbing gym located at Sopiazes, 9 in Cortina d’Ampezzo
  • Transfer to Lake Antorno
  • Snowmobile from Lake Antorno to Tre Cime of Lavaredo
  • 3hour Snowshoe hike
  • Descent by snowmobile or sleigh

Ski clothes, gloves, wooly hat, winter boots (no Moonboots), sunglasses, eventual helmet for sleigh descent (at discretion), backpack.

GROUP DAY WITH BACK-COUNTRY SKIS

Born out of necessity, as a “means” of transport over the snow-capped mountains, today back-country skiing is one of the most fascinating and complete sports activities practiced in the mountains.

Cortina360’s day is dedicated to the approach of back-country skiing, structured for a conscious and gradual start, it provides the necessary notions and methods which allow you to:

Learn to use the equipment,

learn the techniques of skiing both uphill and off-piste,

be safe on the different terrains with different snow and weather conditions.

Cortina360’s Alpine Guides will accompany you along the breathtaking itineraries around Cortina d’Ampezzo.

  • Departure at 9:00am from the “Lino Lacedelli” climbing gym located at Sopiazes, 9 in Cortina d’Ampezzo
  • Equipment distribution (if available)
  • Easy back-country skiing suitable for everyone
  • Re-entry to the Climbing Gym and return of equipment

The package is inclusive of the Alpine guide

Every Wednesday from February 16th to March 30th. Other dates on request.

The course is suitable for medium-level skiers/red slopes

back-pack, ski clothes advisedly breathable and layered, gloves, wooly hat, sunglasses, eventual helmet for the descent.

Skis, ski-boots, seal-fur, sticks, self-rescue kit, while stocks last.

120 EUR per person

The group is guaranteed with a minimum of 3 participants

SNOWSHOEING AT SUNSET

Sunset is one of the best moments to bathe in the scenery of the dolomites and the famous phenomenon called ‘Enrosadira’ (when the mountains catch fire). Cortina360’s Alpine Guides propose an easy snowshoe hike to enjoy this marvel and discover one of the most uncontaminated places known in the Unesco Dolomites.

  • Departure at 15:00 from the “Lino Lacedelli” climbing gym located at Sopiazes, 9 In Cortina d’Ampezzo
  • Snowshoeing for around 3-4 hours in the Giau Pass area and return to the Climbing Gym.
  • The proposed package is comprised of Alpine guide, snowshoes and sticks.
  • Re-entry expected by 07:00pm

Pack in your Backpack: mini-snacks, drinks, down jacket, windbreaker.

EUR 90 per person, including Alpine Guide, snowshoes and sticks.

INDOOR CLIMBING LESSONS

The “Lino Lacedelli” climbing gym offers the possibility to climb indoors on over 80 routes from 3b to 8b+ on a maximum height of 24meters which develops into 30meters of pure climbing pleasure!

Cortina360’s indoor climbing lessons introduce you to the world of climbing which, in the Dolomites surrounding Cortina d’Ampezzo, expresses itself to the max.

The “Lino Lacedelli” climbing gym is located in Sopiazes, 9 near to the Ice Stadium just a few hundred meters from the center of Cortina d’Ampezzo.

Date: every day from 15:00 to 20:00pm, lessons last 1 hour

Duration: 1 h

Equipment: climbing-kit supplied by Cortina360 and included in the price

Every day from 15:00 to 20:00pm, lessons last 1 hour.

60 EUR per person + 10 EUR each additional person included in the group.

SELLARONDA SKI TOUR

Cortina360’s Alpine Guides offer their clients the possibility of living an unforgettable day skiing around the magnificent Dolomites.

The Sellaronda is a carousel of ski slopes that encircle the Sella Massif and touch 4 of the Dolomite Passes: Pordoi, Sella, Gardena and Campolongo. This panoramic itinerary is about 40km long and is suitable for medium-level skiers.

The circuit is skiable in about 5-6 hours, our guides recommend week-days in order to avoid heavy turnout and to better enjoy the views without having to rush.
